నీలాభ్రకాయం రాజారి కోదండ రాజ దీక్షాగురుంరాజీవలోచనం
రామచంద్రం రామం
He is the crown jewel of kings, the one who brought
glory to the solar dynasty. With long arms extending to his knees and a body
resembling a dark cloud. The master of the sacred bow, the Kodanda, and the
guide for royal duties. The lotus-eyed Rama Chandra.
His body shines like a dark
rain cloud. With a broad and sturdy chest, he is the pure lotus-naveled one. He
who destroyed the mountain-like demon Tala and established righteousness. The
lord of the earth who rests on the serpent Adisesha.
The supreme Narayana, praised by Brahma who sits on
a lotus. The one who broke the bow of Lord Shiva to win the hand of Sita, the
daughter of Janaka. The one who destroyed Lanka and blessed Vibhishana. Lord
Venkatesha, who is praised by saints and sages.
This is a beautiful composition in praise of Lord Rama, often sung in Carnatic music has been immortalised by MS Subbulakshmi. This composition glorifies the virtues and heroic deeds of Lord Rama, highlighting his divine attributes and his role as a protector of dharma (righteousness).
